Privacy Policy for End-Users

Private Captcha (“Service”) is a solution by Intmaker OÜ (“we”, “us”, “our”) to protect our customer’s websites against automated programs and scripts (“bots”) in a privacy-friendly way. This solution includes client-side protection (“widget”) that customers integrate into their websites and server-side validation services.

When providing protection solution, we act as a processor under Art. 4(8) GDPR. Our customer, who acts as the controller under Art. 4(7) GDPR, is responsible for complying with the privacy obligations for the websites, where the Service is used.

This privacy policy applies to the end users interacting with the Private Captcha widget that is integrated to our customer’s website(s).

By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

Data we collect

Usage data

When you visit or interact with a website that includes the Private Captcha widget, we might collect standard data provided by your web browser. This may include your IP address, type and version of the browser you use, time and date of the visit, and other technical data. This information is aggregated when processed and cannot be tracked back to you.

Personal data

We do NOT collect any Personal Data (within meaning of Art. 4 (1) GDPR). Any and all data generated by the Service that may indirectly identify you (such as IP addresses or time stamps) is anonymized and/or aggregated when stored, so it can no longer be personally identifiable.

Cookies and other tracking data

We do NOT use cookies on end-user’s devices for any purposes.

Usage data is collected and used for the sole purpose of providing and maintaining the Service for our customers.

How long the data is stored

All data, that is stored in an anonimized and/or aggregated way, is only kept for the period necessary to provide the Service and comply with legal obligations.

We do not sell, rent, or otherwise make this data available to third parties, except as necessary to provide the Service or as required by law. In order to provide the Service, we share the data with a number of third-party service providers. These service providers are required to comply with GDPR by the contracts we have with them. We may also disclose any retained data if required by law or to protect our rights and property.
